Through Him Who Gives Me Strength

Have you ever had a dream and could not image doing anything else? But then suddenly something tragic happened and your world was turned up-side-down. That is what happened in Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken and Soul Suffer.
I just watched those two movies the other day and funny enough they are both true stories and consists of a girl following her dream.

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken is a movie about a young girl who wanted to do more with her life. She found her dream and was living it out when something life changing happened. She was forced to live without her dream for a little while but then one day, she decided to persevere and try it again. She ended up living out her dream with her disability and was just as great!
You will have to watch the movie to find out what really happened and watch to see how she never gave up. (This would be a great family movie night idea, but there are a couple kissing scenes)

Soul Suffer is also about a movie about a girl that had a dream and went for it. Of course, from the title you can probably tell that this movie has something to do with surfing, but I'm going to try not to give away to much information. :) She was so into her surfing that when time came to help do God's work she was to busy, she put her worldly things over God's work. Then on just an ordinary day something life threating happened and changed her life. Later on in the movie she realizes that she touched so many people's hearts, then she could have ever with two...opps almost told!
This movie would also be a good watch for the family, but there is one part where the tragedy happens, that could be scary for some younger children.

The main part of these two movies is that both girls both had a tragedy that they had to over come and the whole theme throughout these movies is "I can do all things, through him who gives me strength" found in Philippians 4:13.
And even though Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken is not a spiritual movie, I still see it the same way.
When ever you are found to be in a difficult situation...life changing event...a job or just everyday stuff...just always remember this verse, keep it close to your heat and know that He will help you get through it.
